How to Use the Triangle Brush
Normally, it is the size and shape of the surface being cleaned which dictates the use of the Triangle Brush.
This brush can be used with or without our fitted microfiber cloth/mitt over it.
Therma-Kleen makes it very easy to attach the cloth to our Triangular Brush. Simply place the microfiber cloth on a flat surface, place the Triangle Brush on top of the cloth, then neatly fold the sides of the cloth over the top of the brush, push down on the ends of the retaining bars and slide the ends of the cloth under the bars. The cloth will now be securely attached to the brush. (NOTE – the cloth must be absorbent in order to properly clean)
In numerous cases, the addition of the cloth makes cleaning a one step process, as dirt is driven into the absorbent cloth.
When using the Triangle Brush, the steam vapor volume should be set to a low range so that the surface will not become over-saturated and require more drying time.
HARD SURFACES : The Triangle Brush can be used with or without our fitted microfiber cloth. Using the Microfiber cloth is preferable, but if used without a cloth, wipe the cleaned surface immediately with a clean dry cloth. When sanitizing an area, a cloth should not be attached to the Triangle Brush, but a clean microfiber cloth can be used afterwards to absorb any unwanted moisture.
TEXTURED UN-PAINTED SURFACES: It is usually preferable to use the Triangle Brush without a cloth attached. After cleaning an area, carefully pass over the surface with a clean dry cloth.
PAINTED SURFACES: Never use the brush without cloth on painted surfaces. Do not apply pressure or stay at one spot too long, move quickly with smooth strokes, do not allow the surface to become too wet or hot.
CAUTION – the heat may remove some paint if it is thin.
FABRICS: Can be cleaned with or without an attached cloth, depending on if you want to clean or sanitize.
- How to remove spot dirt & stains:
- Usually the best results are achieved by attaching the microfiber cloth directly to the Triangle Brush, so that the residue is driven directly into the cloth.
- Place the brush with microfiber cloth directly on the stain and gently apply pressure to the cloth. Gradually move the brush/cloth to absorb the stain into a clean area of the cloth as the vapor drives the stain into the cloth.
- To Sanitize:
- Gently pass the brush (without cloth) over the subject area and following up with a clean microfiber cloth.
